This is a guess post from Sarah Falk over at Renaissance Mama.
Good literature for kids can be hard to find!! I’m often comparing notes with other moms about what their kids are reading and enjoying. I’m excited to share Selah’s Sweet Dream with you, because it check a lot of my boxes as a quality book!
Selah’s Sweet Dream is a horse story, through and through. Its heroine is a brave tween, who must overcome obstacle after obstacle in her pursuit of her dream to be an equestrian superstar. I was drawn into the story in the very beginning, and found myself laughing and crying all the way through. Selah’s Sweet Dream is clean – there’s no bad language or inappropriate innuendo. It’s a great story for 10 years old and up, and we mommies definitely enjoy it too! It is also a great read-aloud for younger kids.
It’s gotten rave reviews from Kirkus and has won a Gold award from Feathered Quill.
